So I guess this is where I talk about myself…
Well for starters, my name is Naomi – obviously – but most of my friends call me Nomes. (Like Gnomes plural but without the G… the g is just implied hehe)
HOMETOWN
I'm a proud Texan, born and raised! I grew up in what used to be a small town – Round Rock, TX… Which is actually named after, well – what used to be, a round rock. 
Truth be told the best thing about Round Rock
are the donuts. Below is what they call a "Texas sized" donut… Oh yeahhh… The thing is bigger
than your head and it is delicious!!
Round Rock may be my hometown but Austin, the "live music capital of the world," will always hold a special place in my heart. My grandparents lived in Austin so I visited quite often growing up, but I officially moved here with my Dad when I was 17. There are many things I love about Austin, the diversity, the traditions, the scenic outdoors, Shakespeare in the Park, the fact that the weathermen go ballistic whenever there's a cold front… the list goes on. The only things I could do without are the hot summers and the traffic, haha.
LOVED ONES
Family and friends are extremely important to me. I have two older brothers who are both married with children, which means I've got 3 gorgeous nephews whom I adore to the bone! I absolutely ♥ being an Auntie. It's the greatest thing since sliced bread. Really. Being able to act silly and crazy with my nephews is the best feeling.
I have a wonderful Dad who just happens to be my best friend. I give all the credit to God for our restored relationship.
I also have to give a special shout out to my grandmother Bob, yes we call her Bob. She is the most selfless person I know, always took care of me and my brothers when we needed her. Love you G-ma!

For those who know me, know how much I love to rock out. I love anything with a good beat, though, especially if you can dance or mosh to it.

I love bands like disciple, skillet, fireflight, flyleaf, wavorly, RED, the benjamin gate, brian "head" welch, anberlin, demon hunter etc etc…
I have no shame in moshing for Jesus. 
I love traveling, especially internationally, and have been to five countries so far. I have this thing where I have to collect flags of each country I go to. So far I've been to Canada, France, Germany, Austria, and Slovakia. And yes I do own a flag for each.
I love culture and I love languages, especially American Sign Language(ASL) and French, though I'm particularly fond of the french language! Je pourrais le parler pendant des heures, il sera toujours ma langue préférée! 😉
Biking, reading, being a sci-fi geek, playing board games, hanging out at local coffee shops, acting like a kid again at public parks and swing dancing (particularly
eastcoast variations like lindyhop, charleston and jitterbug) are just a few of my many hobbies.
INTERESTING RANDOM FACTS
I was born on Thanksgiving Day.
I was named after my Great Grandmother, not to mention that I was named 23 years before I was even born. (There's an interesting story behind how I got my name, ask me and I'll share it with you.)
My first time skiing ever was on the Bavarian Alps in Germany.
The two times I went to Paris, France I got lost both times. Paris is overrated lol.
I'm an adrenaline junkie.
I actually like moshing.
