This isn’t much of an update: nothing too major or exciting but even still I wanted to share a little of what life has been since landing in Malaysia.
We live in the small town of Changlun, which our team has now nicknamed “the Dirty Chang”. Life here has a bit of a slower tempo. We spend the days teaching at our ministry’s kindergarten, Some afternoons, we make the trek into town for groceries or wifi. Then most evenings are wrapped up with dinner from our favorite street vendor, “The White Tent”. Life is simple and has a good rhythm.
One of the most precious blessings God has given us here, is time. Time to just sit and be with Him. To have nothing calling for your attention, to be able to have hours of just pressing into His presence. Such a precious gift and opportunity that I will probably not ever have so freely again. I’m so thankful for a sweet Heavenly Father!
