Yea so let me tell you what the past five days of my life has looked like:

Friday- woke up with massive headache- meds brought no relief

Saturday- 2nd day with massive headache, along with a fever

Sunday-headache a little better, still have a fever, midday a rash developed over my entire body.

Monday- headache, fever, and rash. Headed to the doctor, the girls at the AIM base prayed over me. Headache and fever subsided. Doctor thought it was an allergic reaction, prescribed Benadryl. Later that evening, after 2 doses of Benadryl, no relief of the rash and my body was getting super achy.

Tuesday- woke up in so much pain, could not move without deep aches in my bones. I just laid in my bunk crying. Just trying to grip my hand around my phone was agonizing! I tried to sleep most of the morning away. Finally around lunch I got up and went to find my Squad Leader, Heather, I told her I was ready to go to the hospital, but first we prayed. As we prayed I felt a coolness throughout my body. I opened my eyes to see my skin clearing of the rash and the pressure and the aches in my bones were lessening. The rest of the afternoon I continued to improve, and the girls prayed over me again after worship. Finding that I had more energy than I have had in days, I went to cook dinner. As I was kneading the dough for homemade rolls, I looked down at my hands and realized that these are the same hands that couldn’t even hold the phone this morning! GOD IS SO SO GOOD!!

I share this as a testament of the power of prayer and the power of The Blood! Thank you Jesus, I can call on your name always! Thank you that even in moments of pain, I can rest in peace because I know you are near. Thank you for your healing hand and the outpouring of your love over my body and soul today.
