I am sorry it has been so long since I have wrote just to sum up what has been going on with me and my team.
We finished the month in Busia Uganda really well.  It was a month where I learned a lot and my new team meshed together really well.  We kept busy and saw God’s hand at work.  At the end of the month we met up with the squad in Jinja and some went white water rafting on the Nile River.  I chose the more relaxing route of sitting by the river and enjoying the beauty of God’s hand around me.  We then traveled 17 hours by bus to Nairobi Kenya for squad debrief and catch up with the squad leaders who had gone home at the end of month four and our squad parents.   It was a busy week but is was good to catch up with those we hadn’t seen in a while and see the sights of the city.
On the 30th of August we loaded another bus for a 14 hour ride to Mailimaja Tanzania.  We are in a small town about 30 minutes from Dar es Salaam.  We are working with a pastor and his church here and living with him and his family with another team.  It is not what I expected from Tanzania is I didn’t know better I would think that I was in the middle east.  It is hot a dessert like here, we are in a high muslim area.  Things are going well and I am excited about what the next month holds.
Thank you to those who are praying for me and my team.  It is great to know that there are people back home who are lifting us up to God.  Please pray for us as next month we are going to a closed country and things still need to come together for what we will be doing there.
