Things that strike me about the DR

• The weather is always nice
• There are no traffic rules
•  It is possible to ride with 4 adults and a small child on a motorbike
• The bugs are very fast you don’t even see them bite you, all you notice is the after effects
• Children wander around unattended and you start to wonder if they even have parents
• Fresh fruit picked off a tree tastes so much better than what you buy in the grocery store back home
• The people are very warm and hospitable they would give you anything you needed
• Just because you are white they think you are “Americano” and they like to remind you of this where ever you go

I am sure I will be able to add to this list as the month goes on this is just a starting point
