The other day we went and spent one night in Dar es Salaam with our translator to see his church and meet his family.  It was such a blessing and they served us so well it was so refreshing.  The house we stayed in was a church members and was very nice by African standards, so much nicer than many places we have stayed in along the race.  After eating a delicious meal the five girls retired to our room.  It was a small room with a twin bed and a king size mattress on the floor where four of us would sleep.  The power was out and I was tired so layed down on the edge of the mattress and was trying to sleep.
As I was laying there trying to sleep I had the weirdest sensation of my skin crawling.  I tried to brush it off as a heat rash or just in my head but after about ten minutes I couldn’t stand it anymore.  I asked my team mate Rachael to shine her flashlight on me and see what was going on.  She shined it and informed me that I was covered in ants! The bed where my head had been was black with tiny little ants.

This got me thinking about how by ourselves we are tiny and can’t do much but together we can cause an uproar.  Just like the ants. One little ant by itself does not do much but an army of ants is mighty.
