When I signed up for the world race I thought I would just sell my house and be able to pay for the trip without ever having to ask anyone for money. I had it all worked out and planned out but God had a different plan.
The house continues to be up for sale and I am blessed to have people that are taking care of these things for me while I am away. I realized that God wanted to take care of my finances and wanted me to rely on him for all my needs.
So after training camp I handed out support letters and told everyone I knew what I was going to be doing. This was good for me to get out of my comfort zone and it was amazing to see how excited others were about what I would be doing.
Whenever anyone gave me money no matter the amount it blessed me so much and I realized God wanted me to have this blessing. When I left home my church from my childhood was still collecting money for me and this week I found out that they have collected enough money from my family and friends that now I am fully funded. Praise God.
I see God’s hand in this, he has used fellow believers to bless me and rise up and join me in this ministry. Not everyone is called to give up everything for 11 months and come on a trip like this but they can join me in partnership with their prayers and financial support. For everyone that has supported me I will be forever grateful.
I will continue to pray that everyone on my team and squad become fully funded so they can all continue in this ministry. If you would like to support someone let me know and I could direct you to others that need support.
