There are so many things I want to write about.
I want to write about how Gods been teaching me about peace, encouragement, evangelism, building relationships, selfishness, fear of the Lord, the old testament, how amazing the book of Acts is… but today I will write about the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Jesus resurrected y’all.

Jesus, the creator of the world, came down… and died… & ROSE FROM THE DEAD.
does that NOT blow your mind?
God who created the heavens and the earth decided that He wanted to have a relationship with these little beings… called HUMAN-beings. As you all probably know the story, man sinned… and continued to sin. God gave us human beings SO many chances to turn to Him, but people constantly found the things of this world to be more pleasing. Back in the days people didn’t really talk to God the way that we do today. They built places where Gods spirit would reside and only Holy people were allowed. If the person had an ounce of sin that was not cleansed, he would instantly die when entering into His presence! So after many many years of people being unfaithful to God, the GOD of this universe decided to send HIMSELF in human form to this wretched world. Jesus is what we called Him. He came, he died as the ultimate sacrifice so that we could be holy and blameless when at the judgement seat. Although that could have been the end of it… it gets even better.
Jesus Christ rose again.
There is victory.
He defeated DEATH.
He revealed himself to hundreds of people and walked around earth for a couple of days before he went to Heaven.
& THEN…
HE GAVE US THE HOLY SPIRIT.
We don’t need to take our request to some higher up person and we don’t need to build temples where He he can dwell anymore. He called us to be His children. Although we are full of sin, He has wiped it all away, and now lets the holy spirit dwell in our bodies. Through the Spirit, we have power. We have the power that Moses, David, Jacob, and all those other really cool people in the old testament had. WE have more. We have JESUS who has cleansed us completely & are seen as righteous and blameless before the father.
WHAT A CRAZY good good Father is he?
I am in awe of His majesty & His sovereignty.
We should be constantly in awe of the gospel of Jesus Christ. The first disciples in the church would go around proclaiming that Jesus was alive!! I feel like I don’t do that enough nor we as a church do that enough. If anything, we forget to even tell others that Jesus is alive when sharing the gospel. IT IS so important. Our God is alive.
Let’s believe it & tell the world of this great great news.
