What Is The Beard Campaign?
Okay, If you have found your way to this section of my Blog, you have probably seen some form of flyer for The Beard Campaign. So, what is The Beard Campaign? Well, it's pretty simple. I am raising money for a Christian mission trip called the World Race, which will take me and some other young adults to eleven different countries in eleven months to support missionaries around the world. I will be leaving on this Amazing trip in July of 2014. It is required of me to raise $16,285 by the time I'm six months into my eleven month trip to cover trip costs and international health insurance. My personal goal is to have all of this money raised by the time I leave in July so that I can focus my attention on bringing the kingdom of God to the people in these countries. If I reach my goal, I will go the entire eleven months without shaving my face. I have never had a beard longer than 1/2 inch, so who knows how this will turn out for me (I assume it will itch). I will be posting pictures of the progress of this beard throughout the eleven months on this Blog.
