Hey everyone, its Mo!! I am alive and well!! I live in a small city on a mountain called Harbu Chulule, Ethiopia. There is no wifi let alone cell service on our little mountain solace, and it is the perfect image of Papa’s peace and comfort! This is a video I made to describe month one!!
I worked in our ministry hosts Ralph’s dental clinic for a week. Tangable life change
I teach and play with the orphaned children who live in what is called the “children’s village” which is about 8 brick houses next to the compound where I live. I also get to walk them to the local school out in the village.
We eat lots of pasta, bread, and vegetables! Our hilarious friends Eldana, Zanit, and Buze cook breaky, lunch, and dinner for over 50 of us everday. It is a joy to help them in the kitchen.
We also water plants and pack dirt at the reforestation site because our ministry host is passionate about preserving the environment! That is where Hannah and Eliza got baptized!!!
We cut grass with knives. A lot. Like all the time. Great time for intentional convos with team and Papa.
We found puppies!!!!! (couldn’t keep them 🙁 but relocated to good homes)
I have a new affiliation for watercolor painting. My new favorite way to spend time with Papa!!
