stoked about this thing called the “World Race” and talking a mile a minute and
maybe just maybe you’re a little lost when I say things like “my squad” and “my
team” and “YORO!!!” No need to fear the linguist is here!
I made these up myself

Race Once- basically carpe diem – a.k.a. seize the day!

Basically saying something happened on the race and it was awesome!
Common ones you need to know
Race=talking
about the mission trip I am on. I am not actually racing it is just part of the
name(it used to be a race back in the day)
WR=World Race-
the name of the mission trip I am on
TC= Training Camp(Where
I went to Georgia for training)
Launch= A couple
days in Chicago before I leave the country and begin the World Race
L Squad= All of
the people on my route meaning the people going to the same countries as me
Sweet Aroma= From
our squad we are broken down into teams of 7 and Sweet Aroma is my teams name
based off of 2 Corinthians 2:14-17
When I refer to my team these INCREDIBLE people are who I am
referring to

Noah- O nah nah
Christin– C-stat
Jason– j-dawg
Carly– Car car
Tess– Tessler
Emily– Emmers
I might have JUST made up those nick names so they probably
won’t stick… 🙂
Christian lingo I use a lot
Trusting the Lord– Basically believing in who He is! This is something I am learning to do IN ALL THINGS including finances and my next
breathe.
Surrender– day by
day giving up my “rights”, comforts, and wants for more of JESUS. May I become
less and He become greater- why? So that when people talk/see me they will walk away thinking of no one else but JESUS!
Love of the Lord– well thats pretty much indefinable. A great place to start is at the cross.
The Lord gave me a
peace”- Literally a peace that surpasses my minds understanding- meaning in
the midst of a CRAZY circumstance, even death, we can have this deep inner
peace that only comes from God.
FREEDOM- (yes I
have this tattooed on my arm in white ink) This is something the Lord has
spoken over me for the past 2 years. Freedom from sin, freedom to be who He
created me to be, freedom for girls stuck in sex trafficking, freedom from the
law, freedom to sing, freedom to dance, there is just a whole lot of free stuff with the
Lord!
I also started abbreviating words
Lord
(meaning the Lord)
So what’s going on in my life?!
Oh man! God has been doing SOOOO much! Oh goodness I
could write 20 blogs! That’s why I haven’t written 🙂 Between graduating college,
family vaca, and working for people it has been a whirlwind! I love it! I love
movement forward. I love being present right where the Lord has placed me. And I love being used by Him!
I am getting closer and closer to the awaited day! I leave
in 19 days for Chicago!!!! What?! I just gasped when I counted… yikes it’s getting wayyyy to close for comfort. I have officially entered into the season of goodbyes and tear duct overflow as I was forced to say goodbye to precious people this weekend. 🙁 Hereee I go! *( **( *****( *********(

Praise report!
God is providing daily! Seriously each day it’s a couple
hundred here and there. So cool to see Him steadily provide. I am just praising
Him! Just so you know He has brought in $12,267.98 in 3 months for my trip! I mean
what?!?! That is only by the work of the Lord!! PRAISE HIM!!! Thanks to Beth Moore I have started clapping to the Lord by myself in praise! Haha it’s awesome you should try it now! Just clap unto the Lord!! He sooo deserves it!! (clap- clap-clap)
Prayer Requests!
For more wisdom! I need wisdom. I have decisions to make on
what to take as far as electronics and gear for the year, should I sell my car to help
pay for my debt etc. Still believing God to take my debt. I am working on odd jobs
to help pay for it. I won’t be able to pay for it while I am gone so I am really believing it will be GONE before I leave. Still about $8,500 on it. And then $3,232.02 left on
the trip expenses. BUT I am not worried about it! God WILL provide alllll that I
need. I would love if you believed for/with me!
