I left debrief with a new team. I said my goodbyes to Sweet
Aroma with a note in my pocket from Jake… “This is it! Don’t look back. Press
in. Choose into this new adventure… the end of a chapter simply means there’s a
new one waiting to unfold.”
I knew it. The Lord wanted more. In some way or another I
had gotten comfortable. Things weren’t too bad. I was doing pretty good. I loved my
team and they loved me. But God wanted more…
As we drove off to our remote village in Cambodia I looked around the
car. This is it. Here they are. I couldn’t have been more excited. I already
loved them.
Ladies and gentlemen meet my new team and family: Day 3
My team leader is none other than the lovely Stephanie
Bittick. She stands at 6’5 with long flowing locks and fingers that are taller
than her π She is an incredible leader with a passion to know Jesus like none other. She
enjoys bread and watching the Bachelor.

Next we have a special guy who happens to be our Squad
leader, Travis Bonning. Squad leader basically means he is really cool. He has
long flowing locks as well that tend to catch the occasional lice or dirt
particles π He is one of the most humble people I know and loves people even better. He
enjoys getting to know peoples hearts and sometimes a game of Rugby π

Then we have the beautiful Jessa Grindell. She is wonderful.
She is a servant and constantly is thinking of others before herself. She
enjoys horse back riding through the vineyards and will do
anything for a cup of ice. She plays the guitar splendidly and leads us well
into the presence of the Lord.

Up next we have THE Clark Moser. He is a stud, some would
say he is beautiful, pretty and majestic. He enjoys protein shakes and making
others laugh. He cares for others really well and makes an incredible safety
guard wherever we go.

Then there is miss Amanda Vanzant. This girl couldn’t hurt a
fly if she tried. She has a heart of gold and a ton of wisdom. She enjoys
playing with children and bumping into things with her head. She sees people
and loves them with the heart of our Father.

And then there is mister Bryan Reski. This dude is actually really tall and
even more hilarious. He doesn’t even know it. He enjoys going to bed early and a good cup of coffee .
He is spirit led and has an incredible gift of discernment. He is a go getter
and makes things happen.

Last but certainly not least we have Lashondra Riddle. She
is little ball of fire. She is passionate about the word of God and does an
amazing job in teaching it. She enjoys churches chicken and youtube whisper videos. She
has a powerful testimony and captures people’s hearts as she shares.

This is my team(what they look like now :)). It has been a blast getting to know each of
them and their little quirks. We laugh a lot. They each are unique in their own
little ways with amazing life stories to share. Each one of us are desperate
for more. We love where the Lord has taken us but we desire to be even closer
to Him. To truly be led by Him.

Our team verse is Hosea 6:2 “After two days he will revive us; on the third day he will restore us, that we may live in his presence.” Our name is Day 3 because that is where we live from, the power of the 3rd day. Countless times in the Bible the 3rd day is when God comes through, resurrection, healing, miracles happen. We desire to be a team that lives in His presence and operates from that place. It is from their we walk in His authority and power to see the blind see, the deaf hear, the lame walk, and the dead rise. We are a team who are going for it. We won’t shrink back or settle for less than God’s best. We truly want to go where He is going, say what He is saying, and do all that He desires us to do. We have 3 more months to walk together in His presence on this race and truly see His kingdom come around the world as it is in heaven!
Exciting news! We found out our next 3 countries will be Uganda, Swaziland, and South Africa! We would love your prayers as we head to new places as a new team. We desire to know each other well, walk in unity, and be used by the Lord.
Hope you all are doing well! Not having internet last month put me a little behind on blogging! Some part of me has to blog in order… Cambodia and Kenya blogs coming soon! π
