Good Evening (i think) my faithful, loving, outstanding, generous, and genuine supporters!!!
I just want to start by saying, I AM SO SORRY!!!! I have very very much so slacked i’m keeping you guys updated. You all are so so important to me and I would not be here if it wasn’t for you and I apologize from the bottom of my heart for not blogging as much recently.
With that being said I want to emphasize that, the Lord has still been doing big and awesome things… obviously. Because even when we slack He never does.
So here is a quick over view of the things from the last few months and then I will be posting this week about the end of india and Nepal!!!!
So:
First off PVT (Parent Vision Trip)!! My mom came for 5 days to see me which was amazing!! I was able to let her into my world and actually gain a new and redeemed perspective on myself, her, and our relationship ♥?.
But I have a quick testimony of HOW POWERFUL PRAYER IS and how that has just been something the Lord continues to show me.
At PVT as you can imagine, for the parents to travel all the way to INDIA to see their kid they haven’t seen in 6 MONTHS, jet lag and being just exhausted in general from all the physical, emotional, and spiritual things you experience is very real, and it showed up in several ways. One big one being sleep. The first morning the parents came to breakfast and I asked around how their night was, how parents slept, I did not hear great things. Lots of parents didn’t sleep or slept very off and on. Later that second night the prayer team and I decided to do a prayer walk over all the rooms. I knew how important it was for parents to be getting their sleep so we covered each room in prayer.
And I cannot tell you the difference of even just demeanor and faces this next day. Even my own mother woke up and was explaining how she slept so well and every parent I asked said they had a much better if not GREAT night sleep. NOW BEFORE I GO ANY FURTHER, I want to say that I was not at all intending to like use the parents as an experiment or anything, that is not at all where my heart was because the fact is whether I, Morgan Yarbrough or our prayer team pray over something, if the Lord wants it to happen, it will. But I also whole heartedly believe that there are things that the Lord would LOVE to bless us with that is within His will if we would just take the time to ask and humbly bring it to Him.
So, with that being said, here we are third night and things were a little more busy, me and my mom were deep in convo and spending every last waking moment together before she left and the prayer team and I didn’t not intentionally pray or walk over the rooms the third night. And, I mean idk but I’m just saying you may be able to guess the responses that I got to the question “So, How did you sleep?” that following morning:
There were again very few that had a solid night that night. Now people can say that is coincidence, but I believe that it is so powerful to even just bring the little things to Him. He wants to be in it all and cares about everything down to the last little detail that we do.
Guys are God is seriously the most INTENTIONAL guy I know and He truly wants us to bring Him everything. Not to mention He gave us everything and so it is only right to turn and give everything back to Him, including prayer. If we as people can do the things we have done in this world, that weren’t given to the Lord, prayed over, or even done through His power (as in a non-christians work) then imagine what we could do if we gave everything to Him in prayer and sought Him in every situation. This is truly my hope and prayer. If we want to make an impact in His kingdom and as His children, we have to actually start fighting the REAL BATTLE and begin taking everything to Him. Because just like it says in Ephesians 6:12:
“For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.”
I love love love you all so much and appreciate you all so so much and honestly just CANNOT WAIT to actually be able to look at you all in person and be able to share stories about what the Lord is doing and not need to share over or through the internet or texting or letters on a page!!
