- Hi! My name is Morgan. I am 23 years old and I graduated in 2017 from Cedarville University with a double major in Youth Ministry & Christian Education (CE) – with a CE concentration in Women’s Ministry. I currently work as the Children’s Ministry Director at First Baptist Church of London, Ohio. I also work part time as a nanny for the cutest one year old.
- I grew up in Pittsburgh, PA with my parents and brother. After my freshman year of college in Ohio, the whole family moved to the great state of Ohio because of job changes. It is cool to see how God worked through this and I would love to tell you more!
- Over the last year, I have truly experienced what it means to find contentment in the Lord and His timing whether that be in finishing school, jobs or relationships.
- I am an extrovert with a love language of quality time, so bring on the people! I also am a lover of hugs and feel that you can never have too many.
- I am an ENFP on MyersBriggs & a high i and a high S on the DiSC profile, so look me up on the internet.
- I am a Pittsburgh girl that loves the cornfields of Ohio. I love back road driving in Ohio and watching Pens hockey and Steelers football.
- When Hillsong United released their newest album, Wonder last summer, I fell in love with the song So Will I. It speaks of how God created the earth to worship Him, and because it still does that, there is no reason for me not to worship Him as well. it also speaks of Jesus and his sacrifice, and how if Christ gave his life for the sake of the world and the good news of God, then so should I. If the wind goes where You send it, so will I…if You left the grave behind You, so will I…if You gladly chose surrender, so will I…every precious one a child You died to save, if you gave Your life to love them, so will I.
- My favorite verse from Scripture is Acts 20:24 – But I do not account my life of any value nor as precious to myself, if only I may finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify of the gospel of the grace of God.
- I have been to Haiti four times, and I will be returning again in July. I have seen God every time I have gone and it has been a blessing to see Him working every time I have returned.
- Over the last few years, God has placed high school ministry on my heart, specifically teen girls. Teenage years are hard and teen girls need to know that they are loved and listened to and more importantly that they are loved by a God that can love them more than anyone in ministry can (but that doesn’t mean I won’t take them out for coffee and love them and listen).
- Why the World Race? When God calls you, you go. And I also love adventure and seeing new places. What better way to do all of those? Share the gospel of Christ in new places because that is where God has called us all.
