One team member challenged us about asking the lord what He calls us. As a ‘reward’ she would in return tell us what He calls her.

So I began to pray and ask the Lord what He calls me in heaven. But I didn’t hear anything. Over the next couple days, I began to experience what it is like to experience the fullness of the lord.

He has given me a new spirit of joy, like I’ve never experienced before. I dance around like a chicken clucking, clapping my hands, and praying prayers I never thought I would ever pray. I preached for the first time on Joy from the Lord, with an interpretation the lord gave me from a tree.

I began to give people new names, like our host who I call Papa Zeke, short (or long) for Ezekiel. To see his face light up every time I talk to him is worth it in itself. Or a team leader who jokingly said to call her Auntie TT.

And not much longer after that was our host giving me a new name. At first I was hesitant because I thought he was going to call me “The Clucking Chicken” which would totally be correct. But later that night, he walked up to me and called me “Aklundjue” which is joy in the local language of Baoule. My heart melted and tears began to stream down my face as for the first time, I truly felt the Holy Spirit inside my heart.

Aklundjue: pronounced ack-loon-jewey has a sweet spot in my heart. As everyone encounters my spirit, the one thing I continually get told is how much my laughter and smile radiates, and how my joy is infectious.

The lord is working many miracles here is Assafou, so please continue to pray for healing, relationships to foster, and for people to accept who Christ truly is. Thanks for all your support! Love you all! XOXO
