Fundraising, it can be overwhelming and sometimes scary. It pushes you to be vulnerable and go out of your comfort zone. It teaches you persistance and the power of trusting in the Lord that He will provide for every need. It has been 4 weeks since I got accepted into this program and 4 weeks since I started the process of raising funds!!! I still am in complete amazement with the way you all of rallied around me financially, through prayer, and also lavished me with tons of encouragement!!! To be honest with you, when I saw the amount I had to raise in order to launch my heart started beating fast and fear began to overtake me. Immediately, I thought to myself “wow I only have like 3 short months to raise funds there is no way I am going to make that in time”. But I decided to lay it into the hands of the Father and TRUST that if HE has called me into the mission field and this trip HE is going to provide me with every need and man oh man HE DID!!! After 4 Weeks I am so excited to say that I AM FULLY FUNDED!!!! I am still in complete amazement by this and cannot thank each one of you enough!!!! Thank you to each donor that felt the Lord place it on your heart to support me and thank you to everyone who has been praying for me and also sent me texts of encouragement!!! Y’all the LORD IS SO FAITHFUL and SO SO BEYOND GOOD. I am so blessed that HE has given me this amazing community to walk alongside me in the journey and also an amazing TEAM that has become so close and cannot wait to launch together! Now with me being FULLY FUNDED, I ask that you guys continue to PRAY on your hands and knees with me as the fear of my trip getting canceled keeps sneaking into the back of my head. I ask that you pray for peace and that I can lean into the Father, the ultimate provider trusting that this is all in HIS hands. I also ask that you continue to pray that COVID does not get in the way of my team sharing the OVERWHELMING GOODNESS AND LOVE of the LORD with those in Guatemala, Honduras, and Nicaragua. NOTHING can get in the way of our LORD. Lord Jesus have your way, MOVE!!
