It’s our last week here in Brown’s Town. Since the last time I posted, we’ve continued our ministry in the streets, making new friends and sharing Jesus with those we encounter. Here are just a few highlights!

Last Friday, we spent the night in Aboukir praying over the church and community. It was an awesome night leading into Easter weekend. Easter service was joy-filled and although we had to say goodbyes to our friends in that town, I pray that they’ll continue seeking community in the church. We ended Easter Sunday with a delicious meal at Pastor’s house, followed by cake ??

Monday was a national holiday, and so a few of us decided to hit the beach. It was a beautiful day (one of my favorite off days so far!). Then yesterday, the rain came but that didn’t stop us! We made new friends outside of the Baptist church and went out into the rain for supper. Thank goodness for raincoats!

This week is going around and saying goodbyes as we prepare for our departure on Sunday. We’ll be going to a Christian camp for a few days of leadership development and then on a flight to Haiti on the 26th. Jamaica has been a month full of trials and triumphs – Blog post coming soon!

Thanks for your continued prayers
