Today is our last day with TEARS Ministry before we head to Puerto Plata for our final debrief tomorrow. Goodbyes are never easy, and leaving this place and these people will be hard. On our first day here, our host spoke to us about “pour-in” and “pour-out”. On the Race, we pour-out a lot. We serve. We walk alongside. We pray. We share. We spur each other and our communities towards God. But at TEARS, we experienced pour-in. We found friends that will last, who spoke truth into us, who shared their meals, who went exploring, who cared about who and where we are in this walk called life.

To say that this ministry was divinely appointed is an understatement. We were blessed with a transition period inside of ministry.

Tomorrow we’re driving away from eye care clinics, high school construction, school registration, painting, and water plant working, but with us we get to keep the friendships and memories.

Beyond grateful for this ministry and the work they are doing here in the Dominican, and even more so for the Kingdom work they do in every life they touch.

More to come at final debrief! Thank you for your continued prayers and for joining me on this journey!
