IT’S JUNE Y’ALL!!! We only have a few weeks left on this journey and, man, are we kicking off month 11 with a bang! This month my team, RITZ, is partnering with TEARS (true evangelism always requires sacrifice) and these people are AWESOME. You can check out their full story at www.tears.org but to give you a sneak peek, Rod (founder) and his family moved to Maria Auxiliadora 22 years ago to live alongside the people here. In doing so, they were able to empower leaders in the community to address needs like education and clean drinking water. Today, TEARS supports both a school (K-12) and a water plant, on top of several other ministries, living as the hands and feet of Jesus.
So how do we fit in to this all? Alicia is using her minor in Spanish to help in the school office, registering students for next year. Davante and Dylan move around from grounds work on site to recess at the school. Brooke and I have the pleasure of working at the water plant some days and painting others (pictures to come!)
It’s been great so far and we’ve been blessed with hosts who love and pour into us so well. On top of that, we have power, running water and beds. It doesn’t get much better than that 
???? As we come to the close of our journey, please join us in praying for focus (that we can stay present and pour into this community and ministry well), good health, for the Lord to prepare our paths back home and for an abundant joy as we look back on how God has moved in our lives over the last 10 months.
