Hello from our last day of Launch in Atlanta, Georgia!
This day has been much anticipated AND it’s finally here. A few days ago my family and I traveled to Atlanta for Launch. It has been a bittersweet time!!
I was reunited with 23 of the most lovely people and our incredible leadership team. It was such a sweet, sweet reunion filled will tight hugs, belly-laughs, and awkward dancing…lots and lots of dancing.
I also had to say a couple hard goodbyes to my parents. We view it as a sacrifice with a much greater, purposeful outcome. Doesn’t make it easy, but through it we know the Lord has plenty of amazing things in store in their lives as well as my own. I look forward to sharing stories of all the radical changes that will take place the next 11 months.
Days have been packed, almost to the minute, with so many training sessions, team reflections, and worship. It has been extremely tiring but very informing. We are exhausted and ready, if that even makes sense.
We got some pretty BIG NEWS! We received a ROUTE CHANGE!
We knew route changes were a possibility but it has now become a reality. Adventures has our safety as a main priority, and felt like with the events taking place in Haiti right now, it was best for our safety to reroute our squad to other countries.
We are no longer traveling to HAITI or THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC, instead we are visiting ECUADOR, VIETNAM, and INDONESIA.
BONUS: 12 counties instead of 11!!! Woot, woot!
Our schedule as of now looks like this…
August: Chile
September: Peru/Ecaudor
October: Colombia
November: Rwanda
December: Uganda
January: Kenya
February: Vietnam
March: Thailand
April: Cambodia
May: Malaysia
June: Indonesia
July: America
My squad flies out of Atlanta at 5:45am headed to Santiago, Chile for month one of ministry. We are expectant of all the amazing things God will do and through us. Please join us in prayer!
