My name is Morgan Woods.
I grew up in the small cow town of Galt, CA.
After graduating high school I moved up to Tacoma, WA to get my degree.
In May 2015 I will be graduating from Pacific Lutheran University with a BBA and a concentration in Marketing.
But God has called me to something bigger than I had ever imagined for myself.
I have always had a passion for community service. A passion to help others.
And God has always been a driving force in my life.
Spreading His Love, His Compassion, has always been a passion of mine.
And the World Race has given me this opportunity, God placed this trip in my line of sight almost three years ago. And it kept popping up and popping up and God kept poking me and whispering in my ear saying “GO”.
Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I. Send me!” ~Isaiah 6:8
So I am going!
I’m taking a year off after college to go into the world and get a chance to serve as God’s hands and feet. To serve where God sends me and in whatever way He needs me.
My squad and I will be traveling to Uganda, Rwanda, Ethiopia, India, Nepal, Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia, Nicaragua, Honduras, and Guatemala.
I am excited and nervous.
Please keep me in your prayers and check this blog for updates on my Journey.
