This month we did a lot of preaching and door-to-door ministry. It enabled us to meet around 30 new people every day and share the good news with them!

We heard so many people's stories! There was a boy who said his parents were sick and that they couldn't afford their bills anymore. He said that he was scared they would pass away and he would have to take care of his younger siblings. We prayed for his parents, him, and his family before we left.

When we visited the next week, he said that his parents had been healed. Not only were they feeling better, but they both found jobs and were working! He was so relieved and I was so excited about what God had done through our prayers!

I was so fired up about what God was doing in Rwanda. I loved meeting so many people and getting to hear their hearts. It became one of my favorite parts of the day!

On our last day of door-to-door, we visited a business woman. I just assumed she was a christian, because most of the people we met that day said they were. However, a big crowd of children gathered around us, so I started preaching the gospel story to everyone.

When I finished, the woman told us she was a muslim. She told me that I was wrong and that Jesus was just a prophet. She tried to use scripture to back that up, which didn't make much sense to me. She even said that he didn't really die on the cross. We started to explain scripture to her, but she ultimately believed the Koran over the Bible.

As she was fighting for Muhammed, I realized that I didn't need to fight for Jesus. All I am is a vessel, it is God that does the work.

So, I stopped her and told her that I didn't want to argue with her. I knew that no matter what I said, it wasn't going to change her mind. She needed God to change her heart. I told her that I was going to pray for her when I left, because she wouldn't let me pray for her there. She got super defensive and said, "FINE! THAN I AM GOING TO PRAY FOR YOU TOO!"

I told her, "That's fine, you can pray for me. But I am going to pray that God gives you a dream. I am going to pray that He shows you the Truth in this dream. So, when you get this dream, I want you to know that it came from God. I want you to know that Jesus is God in the flesh and that He died for you, because He loves you."

I never saw her again, but I have faith that God gave her a dream. I pray that I will see her in Heaven someday and we will rejoice over how God pursues us!

It's amazing what can come out of stopping to talk to people. I challenge you to go out of your way to get to know someone today. To reach out and share the love of God with them!
