First off, I want to say THANK YOU to every one who has supported me in this journey. I am at my launch in Chicago right now, not exactly roughing it yet. I kind of felt spoiled and like I didn't want to share that I was sleeping on a comfy matress and fluffy pillow for 4 days. I should share that though! Launch has been a huge blessing and a very needed time.

We have a saying on the race, "hurry up and wait." Yes, I know a lot of you donated, because you want to be a part in advancing the kingdom through the race. Which I cannot wait to see people come to the Lord, healings happen, and chains be broken! But when you chose to take part in this ministry, you aren't just impacting nations, you are impacting me. As much as this year is for serving, it's also for growth.

These last few days my team has been able to come together, before we get to our first ministry site, and start to mold our little family together. We've had the opportunity to be vulnerable with one another. We've had the opportunity to goof around and laugh at each other. We've had the opportunity to learn each others spiritual giftings. We've had the opportunity to find out each others quirks. We've had the opportunity to share our insecurities and struggles. We've had the opportunity to share about our loved ones back home. We've had the opportunity to encourage one another. We've had the opportunity to plan out ways that we can grow closer together this year.Launch has given us the opportunity to get real with each other.

In order for any relationship to be successful you need to learn each other and communicate well. We are now a family of 7 people that will be together 24/7 for the next 11 months. We need to know each others struggles, so we can know how to best encourage them. We need to know each others allergies, so we know how to make sure they don't get sick and die 😉 This week has helped unite us and prepare our hearts for this coming year. It's been a good week of transition from home to living life on the mission field. So, although I don't have stories about what God is doing overseas yet, I want you to know that these days have not been wasted!

Thank you once again for all of your support! I just wanted to give you a quick update on your world racer 🙂 I want to let you know that I feel so incredibly loved and supported by all of you. I wouldn't be here without you guys and it just warms my heart to know how much you all care for me. So much has been going down in my spiritual life and at launch. I can't wait to share more about it with you! Be looking for more blogging, because they are definitly coming.

I fly out to Malaysia on Saturday, be praying for safety for my squad. Be praying for our ministry sites in Malaysia, that the Lord will start softening hearts there. Be praying for my team, that all of our insecurities will just be washed away and that we will be a united in love and ready to pour it out all over the place!
