Fully Funded!!!
I have read countless blogs with this title, but I really wasn't sure that I would ever have one. $15,500 for the year, plus money to buy gear, plus medical travel insurance, plus money for personal expenses, plus money for bills…was a lot to raise!
There were numerous times when I got a little overwhelmed, but God always came through! I met the first 3 deadlines for the race, before I even left home!
Now, 1 month away from my final deadline, I was $3,000 short. I was getting a little nervous, but I tried to keep trusting that God was going to provide again. Sure enough, He did.
I was at a cooking class with the deaf students at our minsitry site. A few of the girls were scrolling through the pictures on my phone, when a message popped up on the screen. They handed me the phone, I read the message, and instantly broke into tears.
Here is the message:
"Hey! Billy Bob and myself (Barbara Jean) went online and donated $3,100. It came from money his mom left when she passed. She loved missions. So you should be paid off. I just wanted to tell you, so you can *sigh* with relief. Love you so much! Bring us some babies, because Hannah Montana really wants a baby sister."
*Names changed for God to reward them for what they did in secret 🙂
Well, I read that message and burst into a combo of tears and smiles. The students were confused to no end, so they ran and got 2 teachers. I explained to the teachers why I was having a mixed emotion breakdown and they really didn't get it. Apparently, "happy tears" is not a common display of emotions in India. I was the crazy emotional American woman, today.
I have been so amazed by the faithful and generous hearts of people. For all of you that helped me get here, THANK YOU!!!

I love you all so much! My heart is bursting at the seams.
Thank You, God, for calling me to this amazing journey! Thank You for drastically changing my life! Thank You for invading hearts all around the world! Thank You for being with me every step of the way! Thank you for providing every penny I needed!
