A Day in the Life of a World Racer: Australia Edition
7 am- Wake up, get breakfast, and have quiet time.
8:30 am- Head to the homeless shelter.
9 am- Scrub down windows covered in dirt and scary spiders.

9:30 am- Scrub outside of windows.
9:45 am- Scrub inside of windows again because the dirt from outside flew back in onto them.
10:00 am – Scrub down cast iron doors that are covered with dirt and scary spiders.
10:30 am- Clean the chapel.
10:42 am – Catch a lizard that got lost in the chapel and set him free.
10:50 am – Go do manly work in the "shed" that is the size of a barn. Move everything from rusty poles to sheet rock. Sweep all the dirt out.

12:00 pm- Eat lunch with the residents at the homeless shelter.
12:30 pm – Go run errands with our ministry contact.
1:30 pm – Arrive back at the YWAM base/ Have a meeting with the ministry contact.
2:30 pm- Help teach a bible study with my team and team Joyful Feet.
3:50 pm – Take a much needed SHOWER!!!
4:15 pm – Go make beds in the rooms around the base for guests that are staying here this weekend.
4:50 pm- 10 minute power nap before dinner.
5:00 pm(ish)- Eat a delightful meal prepared by 3 people from Team Consuming Feet. (Consuming Fire + Joyful Feet)
5:50 pm- Help wash dishes/ Clean up after dinner.
7:00 pm- Team feedback/ Team prayer time
8:30 pm- Go for a swim, walk to Maccers, worship outside, watch the cat chase bearded dragons, raid the kitchen, etc..

10:30pm – Bed time!
Ministry isn't about what you do, it's about the attitude you have while doing it 🙂
