Every day I realize how much God loves me and how many amazing things He can accomplish through His people. For as long as I can remember, I have wanted to travel. I've wanted to explore and discover, seek adventure and let people know that there is a God who loves them. It has only been recently that God has truly begun to move my heart and made me want to live whole-heartedly for Him. I have been planning to join the peace corps or Ameri-corps throughout my college career. I was set on not doing a "faith-based" organization. However, it was only when I was so set on that, that I realized that was exactly where God wants me. I fell in love with the world race and what it stands for the second I began reading blogs and the stories they shared and how many lives they have impacted. I am fully expecting God to meet those going on this trip, in each and every country that we visit, and use us to touch and reach people in a deep and meaningful way. I know it is going to be hard and my heart is going to break and long for the people that we meet and fellowship with along the way, but I can feel God preparing me even now and I can not wait to see what he has in store for me and the people of those 11 beautiful, yet broken countries.
