There is something to be said about new seasons. We might not always like the changes but soon after the change occurs we find that change to be the best thing for us. World Race teams change all the time. As a matter of fact I have had two already and I am getting ready to step into a new season with team #3. Ever team change reveals a new level of growth. My team mates have pushed me in ways that not many people have. When you are with someone 24 hours 7 days a week you get to know where the walls are and what the defences are and God usually speaks pretty clearly about where you need to push your teammate. As you do ministry together day in and day out you share that last bucket of hot water, cry together because you haven’t had internet to FaceTime your mom in three months, and freak out when God blesses you with an incredible safari. (Yes, all true stories You get to know the men and women you live with on a deeper level than some of the relationships at home. As we are swiftly approaching the halfway mark in the race God is calling me higher once again. He spoke to me very clearly out of Ephesians and said WAKE UP MORGAN!! This season will be gone before you know it and it is time for you to get up and step into the role that I have prepared for you in this season. Now, do I know what that role is yet? Heck no. I just know that God is saying that as we prepare to go to Mozambique it is time for me to step out of the shadows and stop trying to hide out. This is not the season for hiding. I don’t know where you are right now in your relationship with Jesus, but I want to encourage you to step out from the shadows with me. That might look different for everyone. Maybe there is a sermon you need to preach or an encouraging word that you need to speak out. Maybe you need to dance with joy or cry out this season. There is more and it is time that we wake up as the body and step into the light of Christ! Lets go my beautiful family! Lets step out and up into the arms of Papa!!
