Well folks, six days ago I blogged to you all about my mid-pre-race-race slump and I am here to tell you that God is faithful. In so many more ways than I could ever explain in a blog and to myself God is good! I have the date and location locked in for my first fundraiser!! I will be having a benefit concert and QLBC on August 29th! I am so incredibly excited about this. For those of you who don’t know me too well and are just blog creeping (No judgement..I creep to) I love love love music and so having a concert is such a cool thing for me. I am also in the final stages of working out t-shirt details and I have two really cool designs for you all 🙂 however, I can not take any creative credit for the designs. The Lord really spoke to my heart as I was sitting there waiting for him to make something happen…..He said “You already have everything you need to get there…I have provided for you in abundance!” and that is so true. When I started this journey 6 months ago it really seemed like an impossible feat. I could not see a light at the end of the tunnel. This last six months has given me a huge glimpse into missionary life. The things that our missionaries go through are real. The attacks, the doubt, the fear, saying goodbye, preparing for the unknown…etc etc. I had no idea it would be this hard and I haven’t even left home yet! But I will not stop no matter how many fears and uncertain thoughts I have, I will fight to follow.
