Not too long ago I wrote all about my honest feelings of uneasiness about going back home to California, and I wasn’t sure why I felt this way. All of the things that God has spoken about my life and my future are just so big, and I could just see myself trying to wear these big shoes that didn’t quite fit me yet and trying to run towards all of these things that I felt called to do but tripping and falling all over myself because I wasn’t ready.

Last month in Malaysia I began to intentionally ask God what was next for my life after the race. I became very passionate about leadership and community and what those two might look like together outside of the race. He also continued to grow my desires to disciple and lead people into the nations. However, He told me to wait. So I waited. I sat with him and I worshiped. Eventually, I let go of my desires to squad lead and build intentional community.

Then a week ago, God moved in my heart in such an unexpected way.

First I will tell you about CGA….

CGA stands for Center for Global Action. It is a program that combines community living, apprenticeship, learning, growing with Jesus, and learning how to step into your calling. It is a 4 month program designed to help bridge the gap with the race and your calling.

After talking with a friend about future plans and possibilities, I went to the CGA website just to read it over again. I thought it was a great concept for people interested in community and diving into their calling, but not for me.
The moment the page loaded, my heart exploded. I went from thinking it was a great idea for someone else to knowing that it was exactly what God had in store for me.

I am happy to announce that come January 29th I will be moving to Gainesville, GA for eight months to be a part of CGA! I will be taking courses in leadership and worship to help further my calling and launch me into exactly what God wants next for my life.

I am fundraising and will begin those efforts when I get home from the race, but in the meantime, look out for a blog telling you more about what that will look like.

Please pray with me. Pray for guidance as I fundraise and as I prepare to step into this new season very soon. Pray for my first deadline to be met and that the Lord would provide the funds necessary to leave in January.

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.

Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.
