Hey! I just got some tough news from the travel agent and would love to have everyone I know praying! Our team going to Swaziland was getting close to our fundraising goal, we made enough money this weekend to finally buy tickets. I checked a week ago and tickets were still between $1800 and $2000, with in our budget. Today they are around $2,700 each. We have a total budget of $3,000.
The good news! I know that God has a plan for this, and it’s a better plan then I could make. On Thursday night I didn’t think we would come anywhere close to our $3,000 each fundraising goal and now we are super close. I’ve been learning over the last week that God will come though, just not in my timing.
Today I’m researching a ton of options. Raise extra support, leave a week later, drastically lower our in country budget, find other flights (there aren’t many), etc. I don’t know what’s going to happen, but I don’t think God has brought our team this far to let us down. Even though I have spent a lot of today crying, I’m actually excited to see how God comes through. What looks unsurmountable to me is nothing to God!
