This morning I woke up ready to do what I wanted. I had overcommitted my self again. I need to learn from my blog about creating margin instead of just writing about it. I told Tammy I would go work out with her and also told Jenn that I would go to the women’s prayer meeting at her house. Both great options with great people! I figured I would skip the prayer meeting and go work out. I love hanging out with Tammy and working out is necessary in order to maintain my sanity.

Before leaving I was reading through 1 Timothy 4 and verse 8 really stood out to me, “For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come.” Woah! I felt like this was God saying “Morgan today I want you to go to the prayer meeting.” So I went! It was such a sweet time praying for and encouraging each other.

One of the women who didn’t know about this blog prayed that I would be like Paul who wrote amazing encouraging letters while on his missionary journeys. She prayed that God would use my letters to touch people’s lives. Without knowing it she echoed my prayer that God will use this blog. I hope that these writings will fan a flame in the hearts of those who read it. My dream is to use this tool of blogging to bridge the seemingly insurmountable gap between the mission field and day to day life in the United States.
