Today has been amazing.
A beautiful highlight of my time at the lake.
Three of the World Race teams got to work at a medical clinic with a group of doctors and dentists from the
United States.
In the morning Bekah and Hannah and I went out in
San Marcos (the town) and invited a lot of people to come to the clinic.
I was a little worried that people wouldn’t come but most of the women we met were incredibly receptive to the idea of free medical care.
We even met the village mayors and they made an announcement for us over the cities loud speakers.
By lunch time the place was packed!

Bekah and I with one of the women we invited to the clinic and prayed for.
In the afternoon I had the wonderful opportunity to talk with lots of women and children after they received medical care.
At first I was asked to translate while the team from the
United States shared the gospel.
I was a little worried about my lack of Spanish ability but after some quick prayers God gave me the words and I was officially translating.
It is so exciting to me to be at a place in Spanish where I can communicate with people about how much Jesus loves them and the fact that Jesus died to have a personal relationship with them.

Talking with a family about Chist.
After a little while the woman who I was translating for had to go do other things and I got the opportunity to talk with many women and children about Christ.
I was in heaven.
I love listening to people and sharing Jesus’ love with them.
It was so incredible to pray with so many beautiful women and share in their lives.
One lady stands out in my mind.
Her name is Elaina and she is 55, frail and blind.
She was receptive to prayer passionate about God.
After praying together she asked me not to stop praying for her.
I took a picture and promised that I would continue to pray for her.
So please pray for Elaina.
