This was inspired by a blog prompt http://thewritepractice.com/industrialism-versus-kindergarten/ in which Joe Bunting said… “Ask yourself, “What would a child like to write?â€ And when you think of
something, write it.”
So I did…
Cloud Watching
Swirling, shaping
Shining, singing.
Dazzling
white
Dancing on a blue gumdrop sky.
Gliding
One picture,
then the next
Morphing
From beauty to beauty.
Silky
white tendrils pirouette atop
Curvy cumulus creatures.
A
rabbit, a lion, a tree, the Cheshire Cat.
Always moving,
Constantly
changing,
Liberated from lines
Freed from angles.
Soft
circles made of
Backlit marshmallow fluff
Carry away perfect
answers
And deliver grace-drenched perception.
