Our team decided that since we had to go to South Africa to renew our Visas we would make a trip out of it.  So on Thursday morning we grabbed our small packs, walked to the road and hitchhiked to the Swaziland, South Africa border (don’t worry mom it’s perfectally safe here.)  After getting over the border, Combi’s, the public transportation vans were hard to come by, so we talked the border guards into calling one for us.  Eventually we made our way to St. Lucia, South Africa a beautiful beach town.  We managed to find a backpackers hostel type place and rented out the whole thing.  It’s been awesome, hot showers, full kitchen, beds, definately a nice break from camping.

The last few days have been some of the best team time we have ever had!  I LOVE my team and feel truly blessed to be part of such an amazing group of people.  Andrew got the genus idea to rent a car and all take a trip down to Durban (about two and a half hours away.)  Yesterday morning we all piled in and managed to get out of the house by 5:06 am, not to bad only 6 min later then anticipated.

We only got lost once, this is us turning around.  We couldn’t have picked a better place to take the senic route.  Our first stop was a beautiful light house outside Durban.  That’s where this blog title comes from, we tried about 100 times to get a good team picture with the light house and it just would not work, so this is what we got.

But we did get a fun picture of the girls!

Candice Emilie and I tried to be bad, but I don’t think we were very convincing.

Not really but it's fun to pretend!

Spano then navigated us to the mall.

After visiting a huge mall, they have a wave pool, rock wall, and I got lost about 10 times, Andrew drove us back to St. Lucia so we could return the car by 7 pm.
