will only make things worse. No matter
how “used to it” I get jet lag is still hard to fight through. Part 2 of Doing
What I Don’t Want To Do will be up soon, but right now I’m too excited to
share my musings about, and photos of Europe.

trip to Germany and Austria to visit our old roommate Jaclyn, and see a little
of what Europe has to offer. Honestly, I
was scared that others would think I didn’t deserve to travel since I live off
financial support. I let fear get in the
way much too often. Truth is, the most
critical voice around me is actually the one in my head.

wanted to use my travels as a reminder of His love for me. I tend to start running and forget that simple,

about how beautiful it is to be on a journey.

park to feed homeless people, falling in love, or becoming a healthier
person. I recently had to name my
Website, Facebook Page and Instagram (for more trip pictures check out my Instagram).
It’s a little corny, but I picked Mo
Journeys, because I love the mental images that the word “Journeys”

Remind me that I’m not that important! The earth does not fall off its rotational axis in my absence.
Emphasize how small I am and how big God is.
Refocus how I view my immediate world.
Provoke questions.
Widen the lens through which I view reality.
Show me what is really important – God and
people.
Remind me of who I really am.
Lead me to the conclusion that this world is
beautiful.
Inspire creativity.
me see that home is good, really good.

Journeys. I love that. I can’t wait to lead people to Swaziland this
summer and to Mexico this spring. (If
you want to go on either of those trips check out www.mojourneys.com and sign up!!)

right now? How have they impacted
you? I promise this isn’t just a
shameless plug for comments :), I’m genuinely excited to see what others have to add to the list.
