Wow! Where to even start? Training camp left me with too many words and speechless at the same time. We jumped right into the deep end of community with each other and wasted no time getting silly and letting our colors run free. I walked into training camp having an expectation that God would move but did not think that our lives would never be the same.
The Lord broke off so many chains and freed me from the shame that I had been living. It can be so easy to recieve forgiveness from others but it’s not so easy to have that same forgiveness on ourselfs. I will no longer be that girl that hides because her story is messy and her thoughts aren’t always perfect. I will share my story to empower others, that they too can be freed from their shame. So from here on my blog is going to be the raw truth of where I’m at and what The Lord is showing me and please excuse my poor spelling and grammar.
Training camp was ten days filled with growth, wisdom, getting to know and cherish my brothers and sisters, too much crying and laughter, deliverance, empty bellies that only The Holy Spirit could fill, the earth on our hands, singing way too loud and a down pour of surprises each day. I could go on about all the things that happened within those ten days but instead I will tell you that what happened at training camp was life changing. We are all now ready to take on anything that The Lord has for us and we are willing to fight for Truth, Love and God’s power to transform lives.
I want to thank each and everyone of you that played a valid role in making all of this happen. I honestly couldn’t have made it to training camp without you guys and your support. The fundraising is not over yet, I still have $10,667 to raise and I’m hoping and praying that I will be fully funded before I leave in January. Please prayerfully consider supporting me along this journey or helping in some other way. I thank all of you for the assurance that I am not alone on this journey.
“You were indeed concerned for me, but you had no opportunity. Not that I am speaking of being in need, for I have learned in whatever situation I am to be content. I know how to be brought low, and I know how to abound. In any and every circumstance, I have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and need. I can do all things through him who strengthens me.” Philippians 4:10-13
