Oh boy launch is one week away today! The week ahead brings so many things! Most of you who are reading this blog know me and about the journey I am about to embark on next Wednesday. For those of you who are tuning in for the first time, please click on the side of the screen to see previous blogs and updates on my life so far so that you are not confused when you read this blog!
Right now I am currently in Hampton Beach, New Hampshire with my grandparents. This week has been far from easy; I am exhausted to be completely honest. This week will end with a bunch of goodbyes that I am preparing myself for, but truly you can’t really prepare yourself for leaving family members even when they are well, but when they are battling illnesses I truly think it makes goodbyes sting that much harder. I think about all the things God has done for me, and hold on to the mission that lays before me that God himself has called me and blessed me to partake in. I hold on to the fact that no matter where I am in the next year, God is faithfully watching over my family and friends. I hold on to God’s promises he lays before us and his love for each one of His children. God has a plan not only for my life through my storms and tornados, but those of you who are reading this; He has one for YOU too! No matter what storms lay ahead, or those storms that have caused destruction in the past, God makes things new. He makes beautiful things and all things new! You don't have to walk this road alone.
This next week will bring a range of emotions for me and people around me, chaos, stress, sadness, excitement, nervousness, and joy, possibly all at the same time, who knows. Please continue to pray for my family and I, this next week. Thank you to those who are praying, I truly thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Support Update:
I am currently still around $8,000 dollars in my fundraising account. In order to be fully funded I need to be at $15,500 six months into my trip. So even though I am leaving next Wednesday I will continue to be contacting and trying my best to raise support in the field. Hopefully those who are new to my blog, I urge you to please pray about the decision to possibly support me financially on this mission around the world. There is no such thing as a small gift! It is so simple, you can do it online, on this current website, or you can simply send a check to:
