Tuesday at 11am from Dublin I will be heading to Boston. My race has ended. What has happened this past eleven months? I am not quite sure to be honest. Some details I remember like they happened yesterday, and others seem so far in the distance I can’t even recall them. I am going back to my life before the race. The friends and family that I left behind will be there to greet me in the weeks to come. All asking the same questions, that I frankly do not know how to answer. Yet desperately wanting to tell the how God has moved in my life.

How do you tell people that God has wrecked you to your core, broken your heart repeatedly over and over again, only to rebuild it stronger than ever beyond your comprehension. How do you explain that, things that once brought you joy eleven months ago, you now find empty and meaningless. That all you need to be content is a good book, an awesome large cup of coffee, and the Jesus calling book.

Some people will want a thirty second answer to “how was your trip?” others will want maybe a two minute response, then there will be a few of you who will carve out a couple hours out of your day to sip coffee with me and listen to how God has radically shaken my world upside down and will be willing to tell me what He is doing in your life. Which ever category you fall under, be prepared that I will tell you just how God has transformed my life in ways you can’t even possibly understand.

My race has ended, yet I feel like I have just started truly living. Living like the women God has called me to be, confidently anchored in Him. I have had dreams that I have never thought were possible, and I am seeing them come true everyday.

So for now that is where I am at with ending the race. I will continue to write blogs as I process the race, and I will fill in months were I didn’t write. (Ireland) There is so much that I would like to share about my two weeks in Coleraine, Northern Ireland. So get ready.

I will be landing in the states on July 30th and spending some much need time with my family in Boston. I will be flying back to Greensboro August 14th. I can’t wait to see everyone and I would like to catch up over coffee anytime!
