MEET JACKLINE!

During my
stay in Uganda, I had the privelege of meeting my other sister. My family has
supported Jackline through Compassion International for about 5 years now. My
ministry site for the month happened to be about 2 hours away from her home. I
was stoked! My teammate Caley and I met with a lady who works for Compassion.
She escorted us to the village and helped translate throughout the visit. I
also got to walk to her home and meet her mother, grandmother, sister, and
cousin. It was a once in a lifetime experience! I got to take her a soccer
ball, some crayons, artbooks, and some school supplies. Below are some pictures
that were taken during my visit with her.

(Opening the soccer ball- she was super athletic!)

(We threw the ball back and forth- She would jump super high and catch it each time- It was so cute!)

(I got her a Snickers bar and explained to her that we have them in America!)

(Her grandmother, Jackline, her mother, and me)

(Using the crayons and drawing books that were given to her)

(Jackline and her mother in front of their home.)

(Me, Jackline, and her little sister, Peace)

(Beautiful Jackline walking home after our visit was over.)

Please keep
Jackline and her precious family in your prayers!
