Yep, that’s right! The $7,500 that I must raise in order to “launch” a.k.a. leave in January has been raised! This is a huge deal because, well, obviously it’s great that I get to leave in January with my squad, duh. But it’s also fantastic because it means that I now have 6 months to raise funds and meet my next fundraising deadline of $11,00 by April 1st. Guys: that’s HUGE!
Of course, ideally I’d like to be FULLY FUNDED by the time I launch in January, but just knowing that I have 6 months to work towards the next goal is such a blessing and I couldn’t have done it without YOU!
I’d like to thank each and every person who has supported me throughout this extremely difficult process of fundraising. Whether you supported me financially or you donated gear or you bought me dinner so I could save money or you hugged me while I cried about how hard this whole thing is, THANK YOU. You have no idea how much your support means to me. Really though; you have no idea. Going through the World Race process has been so much harder than I could have ever imagined. But it’s also been absolutely mind blowing and wonderful to see people (expected and unexpected) show me the love of Christ!
