We are in month 9 in Thailand!
I'm really excited to be working with Lighthouse ministries this month! We'll be a part of several that they have going on.
1. Love Acts– This ministry focuses on the Red Light district in Chiang Mai. At night our teams will be going out to form relationships with the prostitutes that work in this area. We will also spend time with the children that sell things right outside the bars.
2. Zion Cafe– This ministry is a coffee shop. They focus on forming relationships with local college students and prostitutes as well.
This month is a lot of relational ministry. Emmi, our contact and one of the most amazing women of God I've ever met, has asked us to really put our hearts into this ministry. She wants us to really understand her ministry and her heart behind it.
The World Race budget, as most of you know, is really small. We don't have a lot of extra money. Emmi has asked us to meet the women in the bars and invite them to have coffee or lunch with us. Our personal budgets don't allow much room for that.
