The hands God has Made!
Have you ever taken the time and just look at your hands? Look; to see every line, every mark, and every detail; God has put in to making you special. How every fingerprint is unique, and not one person in the world has the same fingerprint; not even twins!

I used to be that person who hated to get dirty! To have dirt under her fingernails, and to have the feeling of grimy hands! It took me until arriving in South Quito and working on building for a church to realize something. I realized that hands are ment for so much more!
Hands are ment for…
Holding hands with someone you like/love

Dancing (by yourself or with a partner)

Embracing one another

Holding your newborn baby

Loving your children, and others

Playing an instrument

Eating with or without utensils

Picking up things, and throwing it

Drive a car

To hold something in the palm of your hands

To measure a size of a horse

To salute someone (like in the military)

To learn how to count on

To prepare food; like a live chicken!

Working hard every day… with the hands God has given you!

Just stop and think all the things you can do with your hands and how thankful you are to have them. For some people don’t have the use of their hands because of a stroke, or loss of an arm or both!

Working on building the church, has really made me very thankful to have my hands. To be able to shovel dirt, pick up rocks, tie re-barb, and carry heavy metal rods up and down the steep street. I have even stopped, what I was doing to look at my dirty hands a few times while working. All the cuts, scrapes, and dirt incrusted hands that are my own. I am very happy to be able to do something great with the hands God has given me. The hands are my own and no one else’s.

The hands God has made…for me!!!!
