As I write this blog I am reminded that I only have 7 days left at home. Only 7! In 168 hours I will begin the journey of a lifetime. Imagine if I told you that you could be apart of this amazing journey that is about to take place?! How cool would that be? The answer is super cool, unbelievably cool!! And lucky for you, you could be, if you choose to be.
Nine months is a long time to be gone however I believe in a blink of an eye I will be back sitting on my couch thinking of all my ‘yay God’ moments. How awesome would it be if while on the field I could share these moments with you!? So now I ask you, whoever you may be, to consider “saving the date”.
14,806$ is what it costs to go on the World Race Gap Year. Broken down that’s 54$ a day. I ask you to stop what you’re doing and take a moment to see if it is possible for you to save the date.
Saving the date means that you would pick a day to sponsor, whether it be your birthday, your grandmas birthday, Christmas or a random day like April 25! Then when I am on the race I will make a vlog (video blog) of all the things you made possible that day and how God worked through me and then I’ll send it to you. Make sure you tell me the day you choose!
Its really a blessing for the both of us because 1. You get to see exactly how your money was used and 2. you give me the opportunity to slow down and talk about how amazing our God is.
