Dear family, friends, and strangers reading Molly’s blog,
This blog was not written by Molly, but by the members of her team. We, Team Centurion, have been with her from day one of the World Race. We have seen God move in Molly’s life, and we have seen God use her to build his Kingdom in Serbia, Romania, and Bulgaria. It has been an honor to watch Molly serving the Lord, and we wanted to take this opportunity to share some of what we have seen with you.
Catie: My sweet friend Molly! She is so incredibly genuine and compassionate. This month, we have had the privilege of working with several children’s programs in villages around Stara Zagora. Watching Molly with the children was beautiful. After church one day, we went to a coffee hour and talked with some of the church members, and this little girl went up to Molly, started speaking to her in Bulgarian like Molly completely understood, and ended up sitting in her lap. It was so precious. The girl dances ballet and was showing Molly all the positions she knew and wanted to know more. I loved watching the two of them interact, because even though Molly doesn’t understand the Bulgarian language, they were able to communicate through love.
Crystal, our squad leader: Molly is a woman of godly character. She speaks words of love and encouragement and has a thirst for the Lord. I love watching her walk in freedom and embracing her true self. She carries such a genuineness to her. She flows with joy and compassion. I am excited to see her step into team leading because I see the amount of influence she holds. Her thirst for the Lord and her confidence to walk in freedom is beneficial to those around her.
Faith: Molly is such a joy to serve alongside. I have seen her grow in leadership, service, and community these past 3 months. She joyfully serves our ministry hosts and our team. I have especially enjoyed Molly working with Roma children this month. The joy and love that she shows each one of the children that she meets is so encouraging. Molly exemplifies the Father’s grace by how she treats everyone around her. She also walks in so much obedience to the Lord, even when it’s hard. She is constantly seeking the Lord and is such a blessing both to our team and to the people we are ministering to.
Jon: It’s been an honor to be on the same team as Molly for the last 3 months. She lives her life with such elegance and grace and it’s so apparent that her relationship with the Lord rings true to that. Molly carries such a gentleness, while simultaneously the strength to lead others. She brings huge amounts of love into every ministry opportunity we have. Also, I don’t where we would be without such a capable treasurer taking care of our teams finances! Her presence has a calming effect on the team and she carries an aura of peace wherever she goes. I can’t imagine a better place for Molly than the World Race!
Morgan: What a beautiful example of God’s grace Molly is. Molly was called on the Race after praying for boldness, and boldness is what I see in her. Ministry on the Race is sometimes unpredictable. We get to a location and are asked to pray for strangers or share our testimonies on the fly. Molly is consistently using these opportunities to exercise her boldness. She says yes to sharing how God is working on the field, she says yes to praying for the elderly and women in prostitution, and she says yes to all that Jesus has for her. She excels at patience, forgiveness, and serenity. She extends each of these gifts to each member of our team, to each person on our squad, and to each person we meet. One of the consequences of the many ways Molly seeks the Father is how she interacts with the Roma (Gypsy) children. She says she is not a children person, but I don’t believe it. Watching her play with and love on these children, you would assume children’s ministry is her calling. Experiencing Molly play with kids who are literally hanging off of her, and to do so with a huge grin on her face, is just a glimpse of the Father’s love for His children. And it is beautiful.
Patricia: Molly is one of those people that you can’t wait to sit and talk for hours with. The wisdom that she possesses is straight from Jesus, and she is always willing to give counsel to whoever needs it. Molly is not lacking in the joyful department, and can easily bring laughter to anyone situation. Her administrative skills have been such a blessing, both on our team, and also in ministry. Molly encompasses grace, both in how she lives, and also in how she interacts with others. She is slow to anger, and quick to forgive, loves others even when they have done nothing to deserve it, and is constantly handing out encouragement to others. Molly’s love for the elderly is so evident, and it’s as if they can sense her care for them. Molly will forever be a blessing to me, and I know that God will continue to use her to do enormous things for His kingdom.
Zach: I have been so blessed to be placed on a team with Molly for the last three months. She carries such serenity and grace and she is always willing to share those characteristics with anyone and everyone she meets. Her relationship with the Lord is one of the strongest I have ever seen. Even when she can’t feel His presence she pushes harder which is only a testament to how strong and devoted her faith is. Molly has brought such a calm and gentle heart into Team Centurion’s ministry whether that be with children in Roma communities or women in prostitution, she knows exactly how to connect with people and show them that they are loved and cared for. This calm and gentle heart is carried over into her role as team treasurer too. Handling the finances for a team of 7 people 24/7 for three months straight is a daunting task, but because of her patience and consideration she makes the job seem effortless. Thank you for supporting this incredible woman of God. Thank you for the opportunity to have her on our team. Thank you for letting us learn from her, she is such a role model to our team and we couldn’t be more appreciative.
Thank you to each person who has supported Molly on this journey through prayer, encouragement, and donations. Our team would be lacking without her presence. Thanks to you all, Molly has reached her fundraising goal of $16,561, and we are all so grateful that you have supported her.
Thank you so much for praying for and supporting our team, through sending Molly!
With gratitude,
Team Centurion
