Month 3 seems like a lifetime ago considering the fact home is right around the corner. But sometimes looking back and celebrating the amazing places we’ve been, the incredible ministries we’ve served, the awe-inspiring people we’ve met, and the unreal ways we’ve seen Jesus move is necessary to walk forward into a new season. So here it is, after much delay, the month 3 ministry video, from the SQLs point of view!
In this video you will see adventures, like climbing waterfalls, boat rides, and harvesting coffee. You will see travel… lots of bus travel… from the most Southern point to the most Northern point of the country. You will see meetings, worship, teachings, paper work, etc. You may even see a clip of Kevin eating a pig eyeball. And you will see people; locals, world racers, children, elderly, all sorts of people. Those people are gifts, and have changed my life permanently. They have shown me joy in the midst of heartbreak. Grace in the midst of misunderstanding. And love… so much love. I have been blessed, because those people have been my ministry. My ministry is to boldly go and spread God’s love.
That is a ministry that can look like an adventure. That is a ministry that can look like hours on a bus. That is a ministry that can look like playing with kids. That is a ministry that can look like evangelizing to tourists in the Caribbean. That is a ministry that can look like a church field day. That is a ministry that can look like goofing around with your racers and having them feel accepted. That is a ministry of the highest importance. And that is a ministry that will never cease. That is a ministry of Jesus. That is the ministry of love.
