About Me!

Thanks for visiting my blog! So, about me. My name is Mollie Jewett and I’m from Raleigh, NC and currently living in Auburn, AL attending Auburn University (war eagle!). I’m a social work major and will be graduating in May! I currently am interning full time at Twin Cedars Child Advocacy Center working with kids who have experienced abuse and trauma. I am the oldest child in my family and have one younger sister who’s 18. After the World Race I will be attending Boston University’s social work program to receive my masters and I hope to one day work work with women and children who have been abused, hopefully in a hospital setting!

10 Fun Facts

1. I like to call myself a social introvert. I love being around friends and family but I also really enjoy my down time.

2. I’m a huge Harry Potter nerd. I love all things Harry Potter, and all things reading too.

3. I have a 2 year old black lab/pit-bull mix named Mowgli 

4. My favorite current tv show is Survivor

5. My favorite off the air tv show is The Office

6. I love a good Disney movie, especially if it’s a musical

7. Actually, I just love all musicals. I can’t sing to save my life, but that doesn’t stop me!

8. I hate broccoli, there’s nothing worse

9. My favorite bible verse is Psalm 69:1, Save me O Father, for the waters have come up to my neck. I think it’s a good reminder that, no matter what, God is always there and will provide.

10. My favorite worship songs are It Is Well With My Soul, Something Beautiful by NeedtoBreathe, and What A Beautiful Name by Hillsong Worship.
