Hello!

I have been spending much of my time this week focusing on my financial needs for this upcoming trip. Yesterday, the Holy Spirit reminded me that I need to be spending more time in prayer for this journey.  I will try to update every Friday on my prayer concerns, joys, fears, and hallelujahs throughout this process. I ask that you would join me in praying in these four areas throughout my trip:

 

  1. Pray for All Nations

  • Pray that every tongue, tribe, and nation will call upon the name of Jesus 

  • Pray that the Gospel will be made available in all languages and people groups

  • Pray that all believers will rise up and reach out to their communities with the Gospel

  • Pray that workers will go into the harvest

  • Pray for the persecuted believers; that their faith will remain strong amidst trials

  • Pray for the return of Christ to unite us under Him

 

2. Pray for a Family of Peace*

  • Pray that their hearts will be open to the Holy Spirit’s movement in their lives

  • Pray that they are either believers or receptive of the Gospel

  • Pray that our hearts will be instantly spiritually connected

  • Pray for them to be present and well connected in their community

  • Pray for them to receive showers of blessings and perseverance during hard times

  • Pray that they would be willing to create a future Kingdom partnership with us

  • Pray that I would be helpful to them and their community

  • Pray that God would use my skills and talents to best serve them and their community

 

3. Pray for my Team

  • Pray that we would be captivated by the Gospel

  • Pray that we would be like-minded and united in the Holy Spirit (Philippians 2:2)

  • Pray that we will be respectful, honest, open, and loving towards one another and the people we serve

  • Pray that we would build each other up, rejoice with each other, and weep with each other

  • Pray that Christ will be our focus

  • Pray that we will be a biblically solid team, willing to repent and grow with one another

  • Pray that we will support each others Kingdom calls

  • Pray that we would be a biblical example of what the church should look like

 

4. Prayer for my Heart

  • Pray that I will be captivated by the Gospel daily

  • Pray that I will be completely satisfied with the agape of God

  • Pray that I will be open up to love freely and fully

  • Pray that I would be restored, confirmed, strengthened, and established in the grace of Jesus Christ (1 Peter 5:10)

  • Pray that I will take ownership of my call to be a missionary

  • Pray that I would have faith that God will provide financially during this time

  • Pray that I would daily put off the old self and put on the new self (Colossians 3:9,10)

  • Pray that I will put others before myself

  • Pray that I will be completely prepared for this next part of my journey

 

*My hope is that the World Race will connect me with a family of peace in an unreached people group that I could build a relationship and return to continue in ministry together.
