All my single ladies….
Team Koinonia
(KOINONIA= Greek word for: Communion by intimite participation;
an idealised state of fellowship and community that should exist)

These are the 6 beautiful women who I will be mostly working with next year. Our squad of 55 is divided into smaller teams of 7-8, and these teams will be sent to different minisry sites within each country. At the end of each month, all teams will meet together as a squad and travel to the next country. Some months we will have 'debriefs' and have 2-3 days as a squad to reflect on the work that we are doing.
I could not be more pleased with the team that I was placed on. These women are all strong, experienced, and willing to do whatever God has planned for us. I can't wait to see what all we will accomplish together!
Here's a little about each of these wonderful women…..
Carrie Morris

-Caring Carrie..Carrie Cares! I may be a little biased, but I think we have the best team leader ever! Carrie started The World Race last year..but soon after launch, she found out she had stomach cancer and a large tumor. NOW, she has defeated cancer and she is back in action, better than ever and never let it bring her down! She is so strong, and I have so much respect for her. She is from… MEMPHIS! She is currently working as the Assistant Youth Minister at Highland Heights Baptist Church, and also as a Physical Therapy Tech. She will graduate from Victory University in December with a Bachelors in Christian Ministry. She has great ammounts of experience in ministry and eventually wants to go into full time ministry with her future husband (Position available, men. 😉 )

Comin' in hot..from Thurmont, Maryland! This girl cracks me up! She is going to be such a joy to have around. She graduated from Stevenson University with a degree in Human Services. She studied abroad for a semester in Australia, and has done a lot of mission work in the Dominican Republic where her parents are soon moving to be full time missionaries. Her main passion for ministry is showing unconditional love to those who have never experienced it before.

This girl is also AWESOME! And another pre-K teacher… YAYYY! We have a lot in common, and I think we will work very well together! She is from Tulsa, Oklahoma and is currently teaching Pre-K. She graduated from The University of Central Oklahoma with a degree in Elementary Education. She leads a small group for 8th grade girls, and has been a camp counselor. She has been to Uganda, Kenya, and Trinidad on past mission trips. Her main passions for ministry are children and relational evangelism.
Megan Terrell

Miss Megan is also one of my new favorite people… She is from Angola, Indiana. Graduated from Grace College and is currently working as a case manager at a community mental health agency. She has been on mission trips to Jamaica and Romania and done a lot of inner-city missions. She also currently leads the middle school youth group at her church. She can't wait to hear peoples stories and see how God works around the world!
Annie Goertzen

Annie the Nanny! I just love world racers…we all have so much in common. Annie is from Alberta, Canada! She is the youngest of nine children. Went to Mount Carmel Bible School, and is currently working as a nanny. She has been on a 6 month mission trip to Lesotho, Africa.

So there you have it… They're pretty awesome, right? This will be my 'immediate family', and I also have 48 other incredible people in my M squad family. Please keep these girls and I in your prayers as we prepare, and as we leave in January and begin to build strong relationships with eachother and with the people in each country that we go to. A few of these girls need quite a bit more financial support than I do at this time.
Please contact me if you are interested in supporting them!
