Hi! Welcome to my very first World Race blog post, actually first blog post ever! Thank you for taking the time to read about who I am and why I have decided to step out of my comfort zone and into this adventure known as the World Race.
Like I said before, I don’t blog. So please be patient with me!
For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Misty. I grew up in Texas and Arkansas. I have 4 siblings, 3 sisters and a brother. I am the middle child.
I currently live in Texas where I work as a supervisor and do photography on the side. I am what some people would call a “creative”. I like to create. Photos, drawings, lettering, you name it. I am happiest when I am in nature and have loved traveling since I was little.
As cliché as it sounds, I really do enjoy serving people. Even the smallest things like cooking dinner for someone, helping with their to do list, or even just listening. It makes me happy seeing other people happy and knowing that I’ve played a part in that.
The World Race is something I have been praying about since 2016. Its been a long process of praying and waiting but I feel in my spirit that God is calling me to step out of my comfort zone and into an opportunity to grow in the spiritual gifts he has placed on my life. Most importantly I am taking this opportunity to fully surrender and trust in Him and His plan.
