Well, now that everyone pretty much knows that God has radically rocked my world,
and called me to live in 11 different countries, for 11 months-
It's time to lay out some of the logistics.
This is the not so glamorous part of the pre-race.
This is the part where I start getting used to stepping outside my comfort zone.
This is the part where I swallow my pride-
and ask for help.
From YOU.
First off,
I am asking for some serious prayers.
There is a lot leading up to the time I leave and lots of preparation involved.
To say, I am excited- would be the understatement of the year,
but to be naive and think "it's going to be a walk in the park" is something I am not willing to set myself up for.
I have been called on behalf of the Kingdom,
on behalf of the name above all names,
to spread the love of Jesus,
and to love as He has loved us.
Any time Satan sees Jesus up to something big- He's going to try his darndest to take the mission down.
I am asking you to pray that no matter what scheme the enemy tries to come up with,
rather that be fundraising,
or fear,
or failure,
or insecurity,
or temptation,
or anything-
I am asking you to pray in Christ name that His peace would rule over this race.
That it would be HIS race.
& that He would lead my feet,
mold my hands,
and move my lips
in a way that would bring nothing but glory to Him through this process
and that His peace would rule in my heart, soul and mind.
Second of all-
I am asking for you to pray about donations.
The daunting $15,500 that it cost to live out this calling.
This is a big number, but
I know my God is bigger.
And I know my God is not in a recession.
I know that the money is God's money to begin with, not mine- or yours.
I also know that my God is a Boss, and that He has called me to this,
so some how,
some way,
He's gonna provide.
So I am asking you to pray about donating to this race.
While yes, the money is going to help me accomplish the plans Christ has set out for me,
I can assure you whole heartedly- that I am walking in love.
I am walking hand in hand with my Maker.
So ultimately,
by giving this is another way of furthering the kingdom.
By sending out,
by investing in,
by praying for,
and by loving.
